I am lazy, let's put it that way, shall we?

Classes:
Microbiology: my prof lectures forever and drones on and on.....he wears the same shirt and shorts every day too.....and his notes suck....they're in paragraph form.....the class seems easy enough......and the lab is ok.

English: don't like the teacher.....had to write an essay today......thankfully, I had already written it twice in high school.....it was on Jane Eyre.

Organic Chemistry: goofball for a teacher.....only one test....and that's the final.....might be tough.....lab with some Arab-like guy and can't understand him at all.

Anatomy and Physiology: weird teacher.....big nerd.....he loves to brag about how hard his tests are.....kinda scared there.....lab seems allright.

Medical Terminology: online and seems damn easy.

So there's a breakdown of my classes. I already have had homework and labwork. Ugh. I have lab four days a week.....since Microbiology lab is split up into 2 segments.

Watched "The Butterfly Effect" this weekedn. Good movie, but a little weird. Went to a comedian.....he was Bogey Lowenstein in "10 Things I Hate About You." Damn funny.

Katie and I had a rough time a few days ago. Won't get into the particulars, but basically, we ended up deciding to take a break for 2 weeks. We made it 2 days. LOL. So we're back together now and all is well.

I am in between classes right now. And bored. And I have typed all that I feel like typing. So now I'm done.

All is right with the world now. Katie is here and everything feels fresh, just like we started over. I don't know quite how that happened, but we both said it felt like new. Strange. Strange, but pretty neat too. So everything is going fine. You guys wouldn't want to read about my last couple days. Just pre-college stuff. Blah. Went to Denny's, played cards, listened to a mediocre concert, might go to a movie or the fair tonight. So that's been it so far. But it's been a few good days.

School is starting Monday. And like I have mentioned before, I am looking forward to it. Haha. Give me a month.....then I will be changing my tune. But until then, I'm a little excitde about school.

How has everyone's summer been? Mine was good....felt like the end rushed towards me though. I was at the beach one day, then I was in Idaho the next. Hope you guys had a nice summer.

OK, well, I am posting earlier than I had anticipated. My EconoLodge has Internet access. Yay!

The last few days have been fun, but extremely stressful and aggravating. I got to play Coeur d'Alene Resort golf course. Very fancy. Had a caddie and a cart that was souped up six ways from Sunday. Had tilt steering, built-in ice chest, brake and headlights, leather interior, fancy wheels, nice tires, great acceleration....ah....golf cart heaven. LOL. And then we got to play the island hole. It is the only course in the world with a floating green that can be moved using a system of cables underwater. That was an awesome hole. And the driving range was cool too. You hit floating golf balls into the lake. That's the driving range. Kind of neat, really. Click on the links below to see some of the course and the surrounding areas. Unfortunately, I did not take these pictures.

And here's a link to the resort at Coeur d'Alene. Not where we stayed, but you can see some of the lake and other stuff here:

But I can only take so much time with the folks before I lose my goddamn mind. My mom argues about everything and my dad just allows this to go on, even when he knows I'm right and she's wrong. She loves to argue about golf, navigation, and planning, which are all things she is utterly clueless and uninformed about. She doesn't know a damn thing about golf. She can't find her way around Redlands. And she can't think farther than 1 second in the future. Bah. Driving me up and down the wall.

I took a walk tonight and went to the pillars atop Red Hill at ISU. Nice to be back at college. Never thought I would say that.....but there it was. I want Katie to be here now.....then all will be right with the world.

I went toHuntington Beach today to visit a couple friends from ISU. I got to show them how to bodyboard. The waves were nice and the water was an OK temperature. But since these two people are boyfriend/girlfriend, I felt like I was missing out on 'couple' moments today.

The drive there took 1.5 hours. The one home was shitty, 2.5 hours. Blah.

I am leaving for ISU early in the morning. We go to Pocatello, spend the night, then Coeur D'Alene, spend the night, golf, spend the night, drive back to Pocatello, spend the night, I check in, college starts on the 23rd. So that's the plan. Since I am not going to be able to access the Internet for awhile, don't expect many updates until at least the 20th.

The Day From Hell

Today started like the last two had, with me getting ready to go to the hospital to do volunteering. At 10:00 AM, I had to ditch out of the volunteering to go to a dermatologist's appointment. The dermatologist was supposed to shoot my ear full of cortisone to get rid of a small cyst, but they did nothing. So I waited for 45 minutes to have them pinch my cyst and say 'see you in three months.' Ugh.

Then I went back to the hospital to finish up my community service for the day. It was busy as hell. People running around everywhere, medicines being needed stat, blah. So that sucked too. And to top this off, I am hungry at this point. Damn hungry. And if you know me well enough, you know I am not a happy camper when I am hungry. In fact, I turn into something of an asshole when I need food. Then, after the two more hours of community service, I went to the dentist's office to have my composite on my front tooth checked out. I thought it might need a totally new cap, or composite, but nope, they just ground it down. So I also had to wait there too.

By now, my day has been a shithole, but it looks to be levelling out. Wrong. My cellphone had also died earlier today. My mom met me at the dermatologist's office and she took it to Cingular. They told her nope. So I went later, after volunteering, and I straightened shit out. I told them that I had insurance and what the hell is insurance good for if it doesn't replace a lemon phone? Why would I buy insurance if it does nothing? Then they said they didn't have any more of my phone in stock. I said "So?" Not my fault. Not my fault you don't carry enough stock of a certain phone. They got all indignant. I told them I was a dissatisfied customer. LOL. That always works. Bam. I got a new phone, actually an upgrade from the previous one. Yay. So at least that turned out ok.

Then I got to call Katie on my new phone. And that always brightens my day anyways. So my day ended a helluva lot better than the middle was.

I've started packing now. That means that school is imminent. And sadly enough, I am actually looking forward to it. I mean, I miss the people that I used to see every day. I miss being able to go upstairs and see Katie. I miss being living in the dorms. LOL. And I miss school. Yes, it's true. I do miss challenging myself in class and all that good stuff. Call me a hypocrite if you must, since in a month or so, I will most likely be complaining about school. LOL. Can't live with it, can't live without it. I guess I want to be able to go to school, but take time off when I want to also.

I think my beach trips for this summer have come to an end....or have they? I may go down to Huntington Beach on Friday to visit the guy I used to hang out with at ISU. He and his girlfriend are down there, staying with her cousin. So I may be able to squeak in one more beach trip. Yay! Plus, I might get to teach more Idahoans (Idaho-ans? Idaho peoples?) how to bodyboard. That's always fun. Hell, I might take my dad's old surfboard and even introduce that too.

I failed to blog yesterday, but if I had, I would have informed you all that Katie and I have been together for 10 months. Long time.....especially I've never had a girlfriend (kinda sad, but I'm OK with that- she's worth it).......and Katie's only had one short-term boyfriend.

Well, I need to go scavenge quarters for the washers and dryers at ISU. Damn cheap-ass school making me pay for laundry. I guess the only other alternative is to get Febreeze and spray my clothes with it.....probably not the smartest thing for someone who sweats like I do. Ugh.

My dad forwarded me this email. I thought it was somewhat amusing, since I don't really care for the French.

"Subject: FW: Armstrong may be stripped of his 6th Tour de France title.

CNN is reporting that Lance Armstrong may be stripped of his 6th Tour deFrance title. In a random check for banned substances, 3 were found in Armstrong's hotelroom. The 3 substances banned by the French, that were found in his hotel roomwere as follows:

(1) Toothpaste
(2) Deodorant
(3) Soap

The French officials also found several other items which they had never seen before, including a testicle and a backbone..."

Haha. Good stuff.

My aunt sent me this website below. You get to squish terrorists. That's always fun.

I got to set up our tents today. By myself. Then I got to spray them out with a hose. So needless to say, I am very sweaty and gross right now. And now I have to go fill out some applications for pharmacy school. I added my second short story to the links on the right, so if you haven't read it yet, you can now.

I know, we all sound like carbon copy broken records of one another. It's been (blank) many days since I last posted and it's summer. Well, damnit, this time, I have a legitimate reason for not posting....which means the other times did not have a legitimate reason for a lack of posts. I have been at South Carlsbad State Beach and Campground for the last week.

Katie got in on Friday and we met Alex and Jen at the Hat for lunch. Mmmm....pastrami. That night, we went to Pharaoh's for watersliding. Good times even though no else besides Katie and I went.

Saturday, we headed down to the beach. And we stayed there until this past Saturday.

The week had some highlights: my 3 year old cousin puking in a restaurant, my 3 year old cousin crapping naked on the beach (seriously), my 3 year old cousin wondering why she loves Katie, and my 3 year old cousin saying that she wants to stare at Katie. Notice the highlights revlove around my 3 year old cousin. LOL. No, there were other highlights, those were pretty funny though.

But on a serious note, it was great to see Katie. My heart was beating damn hard in the airport when I went to pick her up and I think it stopped for a second when I saw her. It was a great week and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. I missed you babe and I'm glad we could share those moments in the sun (nice little pun there).

So I leave in a week to go up to Pocatello. Soon, huh? So if you want to get your last long looks at my handsome face before it's whisked away to ISU, you better get moving. LOL. In other words, I'd like to hang out with you guys before I go to college.
